Advertising Disclosure
Our promise is simple: if money ever changes hands, you’ll know about it.
We want The Star Buzz to be a publication you can trust, which means being honest about how it’s funded. This page explains our approach to advertising and sponsored content.
Where things stand today
The Star Buzz is an independent publication and is currently free of advertising. We don’t run display ads, and nothing you read here has been paid for by a third party. Our editorial content is written by The Star Buzz Editors based on our own research and judgment.
If that changes
We may introduce advertising or sponsored content in the future to help cover the cost of running the site. If and when we do, we’ll follow a few firm rules:
- Clear labels. Any paid or sponsored content will be clearly marked as such — for example, with a label like “Sponsored” or “Advertisement” — so you can always tell it apart from our regular editorial.
- Editorial independence. Advertisers don’t get to write, approve or veto our editorial articles. Our explainers and opinions stay our own.
- Affiliate links, if used, will be disclosed. If we ever include a link where we might earn a commission, we’ll say so on the page. A commission never costs you extra, and it won’t buy a better review.
- No fake endorsements. We won’t run invented reviews, fake testimonials, or “as seen in” badges we haven’t earned.
Honesty about our content
Separately from advertising, it’s worth repeating what we do and don’t publish. Our articles are evergreen explainers and clearly labeled opinion. We don’t invent news, quotes or events about real people, and we don’t use manufactured statistics, awards or press logos to make ourselves look bigger than we are.
